Today's project and Garden progress

I tackled the bookshelves today. They were haphazardly piled up in there, and a boobie trap to any little child looking for a story. My helper joined in, and the task took 1/2 as long as it could have. Sleeping babies help that work well. It looks great now, and I have a full box of books we cannot donate or sell, because they are torn up or worse.

I pulled out all the baby board books, and put them into a bucket for exploration by the couch. It may or may not help.

The garden is coming along. Well, some of it is. Some is struggling. I am hoping to solve that problem here soon. We got to enjoy some first fruits today. I went out to water and discovered this sparkling little gem awaiting us.

The pea bed is sprouting!!

The potatoes and cauliflower are still growing strong, even the one in the strawberry pot I filled with marigolds!!

The corn, the hot peppers, and the even bell peppers (not pictured)...

And the best surprise, the pumpkin finally sprouted, I'd almost given up!

The garden is doing pretty good so far. I am happy with the results at this point.
